My whole life I have believed that I was in control and that I could make it on my own.  After waking up in jail, I finally realized I had a problem I could not solve on my own. Fortunately, I am blessed with a loving mom who helped lead me to PAYH. God has worked in my life in more ways than I could have imagined. I am now enrolled in a community college working towards my associates degree in applied science with plans to become a marine engineer. Without God, my mom, and PAYH, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
