The Word of God is an endless ocean of knowledge and understanding. In the first chapter of Genesis, we see the perfect design of God, unfolding His plan through His creation. In this passage of scripture, there is a great deal we can learn from the context in which God has given. There are four observations that I would like to point out, based on the God-given leadership potential we have within all of us.
Can you remember those days of your engagement? You had fallen in love with the dream of your life. And what was even better? They had fallen in love with you, too. There came a time when you decided to ask them to marry you. AND THEY AGREED!
Today is Giving Tuesday, and we are prayerful that you will support PAYH! The Paul Anderson Youth Home, located in Vidalia, Georgia, has been offering a second chance to troubled young men since 1961.
I would dare venture to say that you have probably done this sometime throughout your days, whether they are short or quite lengthy. Probably more times than you can remember, you've been told to “say thank you,” or, to “be grateful for what you have.”

The mentors at Paul Anderson Youth Home play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of the young men in our charge. Combined with our Christ-centered program, their impact becomes even more profound.
July is marked by, what else, July 4th! It’s the birthday of our nation. Called Independence Day, it is celebrated with picnics, hamburgers, hotdogs, grilled steak, watermelon, family, and all topped off with fireworks at the dark of the day.
Psalm 39:4-5 (NLT), "4 LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, and that my life is fleeing away. 5 My life is no longer than the width of my hand. An entire lifetime is just a moment to you; human existence is but a breath." Young people, in general, often feel that they are invincible and they have all the time in the world. As you get older, you discover that it is simply not true. I am reminded of the old adage, "The days are long, but the years are short."
