At Paul Anderson Youth Home, we offer several means by which young men can further their education and develop marketable skills. Whether they choose to follow a college-prep or vocational path, we are fully equipped to meet their needs.
Fully Accredited High School
Many young men who come to PAYH have fallen behind in school. Providentially, our on-campus high school allows each young man to work at his own pace in order to catch up. Paul Anderson High School is fully accredited by Cognia and maintains a student / teacher ratio of no greater than 10 to 1. This allows us to provide individual attention to each young man in order to help him complete the requirements of the University System of Georgia’s “Staying on Course” program and receive his diploma.

At PAYH, we have many opportunities for our young men to learn about various skilled trades. These skills will help prepare them to enter the workforce with experience and knowledge to guide them into a successful career.

College Opportunities
Since PAYH accepts males up to 21 years of age, some enter the program having completed or nearly completed their high-school education. For these young men, we offer college credit opportunities in two ways. First, they can earn both high school and college credit simultaneously through Georgia’s Dual Enrollment program. Additionally, if they have completed their high-school requirements, they can enroll in college courses online at various institutions of higher learning.
Practical Life Skills Training
In order to be successful, we believe education as well as practical life skills are needed. It is important for them to learn how to function in society as independent, productive citizens.
